8 Team USA & Olympic Themed Treats

July 19, 2024

We are just 1 week away from the Opening Ceremonies for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games!

If you are planning to have a watch party or want to make a fun treat for you and your kids to share, here are some ideas that I made in past years and recently to prep for this year’s Summer Olympics.

Olympic Ring Brownies

Using your favorite cake or brownie recipe, top with a layer of icing, then decorate with M&M’s in the shape and colors of the Olympic Rings.

Olympic Ring Cupcakes

Using the same concept as above, you can decorate individual cupcakes with M&M’s in the shape and colors of the Olympic Rings.

Team USA Cupcakes

Speaking of cupcakes, cheer on Team USA with red, white and blue cupcakes. Here are the supplies to make these: SHOP CUPCAKE TOPPERS

Olympic Torch Snack

Besides the Olympic Rings, the Olympic Torch is the most notable symbol of the Olympic Games. With just 2 simple ingredients (Cheetos and Ice Cream Cones), you can replicate the torch in snack form.

Olympic Ring Bagels

A fun and festive breakfast is always on the menu in our house. Toast your favorite bagels and use toppings in the colors of the Olympic Rings. I used cream cheese as the base for some. Toppings include Blueberries, Black Olives, Tomatoes, Cheesy Eggs and Avocado.

Olympic Medal Snack

With just two simple ingredients (Fruit Roll Ups and Nilla Wafers), you’ve got Gold, Silver and Bronze Medal snacks. Bonus points if you have an edible marker to differenciate the medals.

Olympic Ring Fruit Tray

There are so many colorful fruits in season during the summer. Take your pick to create the shape and colors of the Olympic Rings.

Team USA Cookies

Another Red, White & Blue treat using M&M’s to cheer on Team USA!
