This month’s feature cookbook is actually a cocktail recipe book. Gone With The Gin is a punny collection of cocktail recipes with a Hollywood Twist.
Each recipe nods to a popular film and makes a great gift for the film buffs in your life. It also includes movie-themed drinking games and munchies to go with your cocktails.
I have had this book on my bar cart for ages along with two other cocktail books by author Tim Federle – Tequila Mockingbird and Are You There God? It’s Me Margarita. Both with punny literary-themed cocktails.
As a big fan of Bloody Mary’s and a childhood love for Mary Poppins, it was a no-brainer for me to feature the Blood Mary Poppins recipe.
